Ashraf El-Shalakany
MD, FACC, FHRS, FSCAI
Doctor Ashraf El-Shalakany is a Harvard trained Interventionist Electrophysiologist Cardiologist, highly recognized in the southeast Florida Area.
He earned his medical degree at the University Ain-Shams in Egypt (1974-1980) and successfully completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas, at Houston (1990-1993).
His fellowship of Cardiology was completed at the Beth Israel Hospital/ Harvard Medical School (1993-1995), his fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Beth Israel/ Harvard Medical School (1995-1996), his Senior Cardiology Fellowship at the Beth Israel Hospital/ Harvard medical School and his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the Iowa Heart Institute (1997).
Doctor Ashraf El-Shalakany is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine.
Ashraf is a proud member of the American College of Cardiology, the Massachusetts Medical Association, Egyptian Society of Cardiology, The Heart Rhythm Society, The Egyptian Board of Pacing & Electrophysiology and The Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention.
